This is the first piece of text posted on this blog and it's brief because I'm not sure it will ever be read. However, assuming the technology works smoothly and that there are one or two people out there with time to read it, thanks for getting this far.
The rationale behind the blog is that I am gradually developing a clear overview of a research project that I'm passionate about, which will eventually, I hope, come to life as a PhD. The title of the project is Notions of Beauty: Exploring children's aesthetic experience. It's a project that I've officially been working on for sbout a year though, scarily, I found a file on my old laptop last week that outlined the focus of the research and was dated July 2007. So, if you're reading this and hoping for some useful tips on research, the first is either (a) these things take time - or (b) I started something I couldn't finish...
